Plants vs. Zombies
Most people already know Plants vs. Zombies by PopCap Games as a Mac or a PC Game. Now that it’s available for the iPhone it becomes even more popular.
The concept is the following: Hungry zombies try to get to your house through your garden, so they can kill you and eat your delicious brain. You have to plant different kinds of plants to stop the zombies. In the beginning, you can plant energy-giving sunflowers and plants which shoot peas to stop the zombies. The farther you get, the more plants will be available. These plants will include ice plants to slow zombies, carnivorous plants to eat zombies, exploding cherries and many more. Of course, not only the plants but also the zombies will develop with very level.
There’s an adventure mode which covers 50 levels with different characteristics – you’ll have to fight zombies through day, night and fog, in a swimming pool and on the rooftop. The adventure mode also offers some bonus levels. When you’re done with this mode, the “Quick play” mode will be available. Altogether, there are 49 types of plants and 29 types of zombies. You can collect coins to buy power-ups and upgrades and you can collect 13 iPhone-exclusive achievements.
Because of its very cool illustrated graphics, its nice soundtrack, its funny sequences, its scope and its very entertaining gameplay, Plants vs. Zombies is one of the best iPhone games. It’s available for $2.99 and I really recommend buying it.
