Byline is another feed reader for your iPhone. Beside standard functionalities like an integrated web browser, sending items per email or starring and sharing your items, there are two features to seperate Byline from other feed readers:
Two-way syncing with Google Reader – Isn’t it annoying to always receive the same articles on your iPhone and your computer? Byline will sync with Google Reader, so you won’t receive articles twice anymore.
Offline browsing – Mark interesting articles, so you can read them later, although there is no internet connection. Byline is able to cache the downloaded article including text, images and even the webpages that are linked to in the article.
It’s worth mentioning that Byline can as well be used in landscape mode. The interface may not be revolutionary, but it’s simple and good and it matches with the icon (which looks so good that I always want to click it when I see it). Although there are cheaper and even free feed reader apps in the App Store, Byline is still my favorite and definitely worth its $3.99.
